We have planned a fantastic 25 nights tour which includes all the Kangaroos matches plus the Four Nations Final and visits to MANCHESTER, LONDON, CORK, DUBLIN, LIVERPOOL, EDINBURGH and LEEDS. It will be a great tour so why not join in the fun as we tour around the UK and Ireland seeing the sights and enjoying the best rugby league in the world. TOUR ITINERARY DAY 1 WEDNESDAY 26 OCTOBER Today we will depart from all our Australian cities on our flights to Manchester. DAY 2 THURSDAY 27 OCTOBER Upon arrival we will be met and transferred to our hotel THE ARORA in Central Manchester. This evening we will meet up with Artie for a welcome drink. This is an opportunity for us all to get to know each other. DAY 3 FRIDAY 28 OCTOBER OVERNIGHT MANCHESTER Today is a leisure day with free time for you to explore Manchester by yourself or take up one our optional day tours and activities. This evening we will meet for a pre game briefing prior to heading off to our first 4 Nations match, Australia v New Zealand at Halliwell Stadium Warrington. Post match we will return to our hotel for a celebratory drink. DAY 4 SATURDAY 29 OCTOBER OVERNIGHT MANCHESTER The Premier League is supported by millions around the world and today we will experience the atmosphere for ourselves when we attend one of its scheduled matches. DAY 5 SUNDAY 30 OCTOBER OVERNIGHT MANCHESTER Today is a leisure day with free time for you to explore Manchester by yourself or take up one our optional day tours and activities. DAY 6 MONDAY 31 OCTOBER OVERNIGHT LONDON This morning after check out we will head off to London the capitol of England and one of the world’s great cities. Our hotel for our stay in London is the HOLIDAY INN KENSINGTON FORUM. DAY 7 TUESDAY 1 NOVEMBER OVERNIGHT LONDON We have a bright and early start today for our guided sightseeing tour of London. We will see all the well known attractions of this famous city and enjoy an interesting look into history seeing such places as Big Ben, the Tower of London, The Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace. DAY 8 WEDNESDAY 2 NOVEMBER OVERNIGHT LONDON Today is a day of leisure to either explore London by yourself or take up one of our optional day tours and activities. DAY 9 THURSDAY 3 NOVEMBER OVERNIGHT LONDON We take in the very best UK Sport has to offer with our tribute to English Sport day. We will tour the 2012 Olympic Games precinct prior to visiting the home of cricket Lords. Here we will tour this hallowed ground prior to lunching at the world famous Lords Tavern which adjoins. Post lunch we will head to Wimbledon the home of tennis and the scene of some of the greatest matches ever played. This will be a magic day for any lover of sport. DAY 10 FRIDAY 4 NOVEMBER OVERNIGHT LONDON A unique experience today when we attend the Kangaroo’s final training session prior to their match tomorrow. DAY 11 SATURDAY 5 NOVEMBER OVERNIGHT LONDON This afternoon after our pre game briefing we will witness the 4 Nations Double Header Australia v England and Wales v New Zealand at the magnificent new Wembley. This new version of a stadium steeped in history will host the 4 best teams in the world and we will be there. Post match we will return to our hotel for our celebratory drink. DAY 12 SUNDAY 6 NOVEMBER OVERNIGHT CORK We have a complete change in atmosphere today when we fly to the quaint city of Cork in the Republic of Ireland. Cork was voted in 2010 by Lonely Planet as one of the best places to travel to. This laid back city is a great place for us to be introduced to the Emerald Isle. Our hotel for our stay in Cork is the RIVER LEE. DAY 13 MONDAY 7 NOVEMBER OVERNIGHT CORK Some Irish cheer in store for us today when we travel through the beautiful areas surround Cork. We will visit Blarney Castle and do what all good supporters of Rugby League should do - KISS THE BLARNEY STONE AND GAIN THE GIFT OF THE GAB. Our diverse tour will also take in other Castles, towers, Cathedrals, a fort, stunning scenery, shopping, history, culture, lunch in Kinsale (the gourmet capital) and of course some great craic with our driver guide. DAY 14 TUESDAY 8 NOVEMBER OVERNIGHT DUBLIN We are off to the capitol of the Republic of Ireland today when we travel by coach to Dublin. Our hotel for our Dublin stay is the ASHLING. DAY 15 WEDNESDAY 9 NOVEMBER OVERNIGHT DUBLIN We will take a half day tour of Dublin to give us all a bit of a reference and help plan what we may want to explore later ourselves in this lovely city. DAY 16 THURSDAY 10 NOVEMBER OVERNIGHT DUBLIN Today is a day of leisure to either explore more of Dublin yourself or take up one of our optional day tours and activities. DAY 17 FRIDAY 11 NOVEMBER OVERNIGHT DUBLIN DAY 18 SATURDAY 12 NOVEMBER OVERNIGHT LIVERPOOL After checkout we will head to the Dublin Ferry Docks for our ferry ride to Hollyhead. From Hollyhead we will travel to Liverpool and check in to our hotel the BRITTANIA ADELPHI. DAY 19 SUNDAY 13 NOVEMBER OVERNIGHT LIVERPOOL After a hectic few days, we have a day of leisure today to relax in the home of the legendary Beatles. Optional day tours and activities will be available.This evening we will meet for transfer to our next 4 Nations match Australia v Wales at Wrexham. Post match we will return to our hotel. DAY 20 MONDAY 14 NOVEMBER OVERNIGHT EDINBURGH This morning after check out, we head further north to Scotland and its capitol Edinburgh. Our hotel for our stay in Edinburgh is the RAMADA MOUNT ROYAL. DAY 21 TUESDAY 15 NOVEMBER OVERNIGHT EDINBURGH We have a day of leisure today to either explore Edinburgh yourself or take up one of our optional day tours and activities. DAY 22 WEDNESDAY 16 NOVEMBER OVERNIGHT EDINBURGH A fantastic day in store for us today when take a day tour to St Andrews and the Kingdom of Fyfe. Whilst everybody acknowledges St Andrews as the home of golf it is much more than that being a beautiful seaside town of enormous character. After St. Andrews, we will journey through the East Neuk of Fyfe. This is an undiscovered corner that yields some real gems, including the historic fishing villages of Crail and Anstruther. Here there is the chance to experience an award-winning 'fish supper' (as it's known to all true Scots) before heading home, full of good food and good memories from the Scottish Kingdom of Fyfe. DAY 23 THURSDAY 17 NOVEMBER OVERNIGHT LEEDS We will take a leisurely scenic First Class train ride down south from Edinburgh to the city of Leeds readying ourselves for the culmination of our tour. Our hotel for our stay in Leeds is the CROWNE PLAZA. DAY 24 FRIDAY 18 NOVEMBER OVERNIGHT LEEDS Today is a day set up for the “true believers” of our great game when we delve into the history of the code in England with Sky Sports Television personality Mike “Stevo” Stephenson and enjoy lunch is included today. DAY 25 SATURDAY 19 NOVEMBER OVERNIGHT LEEDS This evening we will transfer to Elland Road for the 4 Nations Final. Post match we will return to our hotel for our celebratory drinks to the Kangaroos victory. DAY 26 SUNDAY 20 NOVEMBER OVERNIGHT LEEDS Today we will attend our farewell luncheon, a time to relax and reminisce with the friends we have made on tour. DAY 27 MONDAY 21 NOVEMBER Our tour ends with our final transfer to Manchester Airport for our return flights to Australia
